The food... read more During our visit, we ordered mussels, the LBLT (lobster and bacon), and meat pie. While everything was enjoyable, none of it stood out as exceptional. The food had a homemade quality, which meant some finer details often found in high-end restaurants were missing. For instance, my portion of local mussels was generous, but they weren’t cleaned properly, leading to grit in the dish. Similarly, the lobster sandwich was substantial but came on stale white bread, which overshadowed the tasty chunks of lobster. I recommend giving this place a try, but it’s best to stick with the safer choices like meat pie, soups, and fried fish.
