The place is beyond... read more Gilligans is truly a great place. About to leave WI for the year after my grandfather, brother, and I ate here everyday for the whole week! The place is beyond creative and fun and the staff is amazing. Lexi and Jennifer stuck out especially to us as they were the most welcoming and helpful when it came to their services. We also were Jennifer’s first table ever and she was so sweet and willing to get anything answered for us. The overall staff is always so sweet and the food is great as well. Gilligans also has games, a bar, bathrooms, as well as indoor and outdoor dining! You can’t get much better than Gilligans. I can’t wait to come back next year and hopefully see some familiar faces. :

The atmosphere is fun and vibrant, and the flavors are out of this world. When I come to Chetek with my sister and grandfather we eat here all 7 nights we stay! It’s a perfect restaurant and they have the most delightful staff to make the experience even better. We were lucky enough to have Jennifer and Alexa twice each as our severs they are the best!! They’re so kind and helpful and always made us happy. The Mac and Cheese is the best item on their menu I wake up dreaming of the taste of it. Gilligan’s is the best restaurant on this planet and I’ll never get sick of it!!!!

The chicken tenders were obviously store-bought frozen chicken and was disturbingly grey inside. When we approached the owner to request a refund, not only was there a complete lack of professionalism, but we were also treated with utter disregard. We felt as though we had been robbed of our money. If you’re considering visiting this restaurant, I strongly advise against it. Save yourself the unpleasant experience and steer clear of this distasteful establishment.
