Moderne Sushi and BBQ - Chestermere

Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed and locked. It seems that the owners have not paid rent and the doors have been shut. It is a disappointment as the staff and food were excellent, but they are no longer operating.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we began our meal with sushi rolls. However, once we started eating, the food was absolutely delicious that we couldn't resist ordering more and more until we were too full to move, but I still managed to order a bubble tea at the end. The staff was very welcoming, and we had a pleasant conversation with the owner who ensured we were well taken care of. Thank you for a wonderful night and amazing food! I will definitely be coming back.

Having traveled extensively, I can confidently say that this restaurant excels in the realm of sushi. The salmon was exceptionally well-prepared, with a buttery texture and no unpleasant fishy aroma or aftertaste. The service was also top-notch. While we also tried the fried beef and spare ribs, I wouldn't recommend ordering them again. This establishment truly specializes in sushi, and they do an outstanding job of it.

This was definitely one of the higher priced all you can eat sushi restaurants around the Calgary area. You would think with the higher price would come better quality and selection but it is quite the opposite. The sushi is mediocre at best, the all you can eat menu doesn 't include sashimi, the Korean BBQ was all coated in the same hot sauce that overwhelms the flavour of the meat. I do not understand how this place has received decent reviews. I can only guess that being the only sushi restaurant in Chestermere they have cornered the market and the locals don 't know any better. I love sushi and this was by far the worst I 've had. I will not be back.

I can honestly say the sushi here is awesome! We stopped for lunch, and had some combination sushi meals, they included tuna, salmon skin, prawn and California rolls. it was all really good. I would definitely recommend it!
