Hitea - Chesterfield

The Roasted Oolong Milk Tea is so yummy and relaxing! They have so many different foods from Asian culture including but not limited to Bentos’, Tonkatsu, tofu, ramen, and more! The ambiance and decorations are so fun and pretty! They have Lego sculptures of castles and put together models of other grandiose buildings. I found my new happy place! I didn’t even mention the giant teddy bear that they have! I’m in love. New favorite place!

Tried HiTea last weekend in Chesterfield while in town for a competition. Was very disappointed. Ordered the ramen since so many said it was good. Ordered veggie egg rolls and chicken yakitori. It was the tiniest chicken yakitori I ever saw. Looked like fried mini chicken nuggets on a toothpick with tiny miniscule sized pieces of what I think was bell pepper. The interior of the restaurant is very cute. The staff was very cooperative. And the food came out at a decent time. The ordering system is a little difficult to navigate, but regardless, the staff were more than willing to help, and the food was delicious. Definitely go here if you want to experience some authentic Asian cuisine.

Really liked their teas. I finally ordered their food to go. I did not get what I ordered and the food made me feel sick. The organization at the counter could also be better. The tea and atmosphere is great. Edit: this place used to be one of my favorites. Apparently they don’t pay their staff well and the one girl who was really good quit.
