Gooey Louie - Chesterfield

There was NOTHING gooey about the individual cake it purchased on Saturday! There was a hard crust on the top. The inside was very dry. It was extra sweet! I am not sure why the cake is famous. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. My suggestion is don't waste your time or money going here!

I ordered a cake to be delivered to my sister for Easter and it’s not set to arrive to her until Thursday 4/8. I ordered it on Thursday 4/1. While I didn’t know if it would make it by Sunday after ordering it Thursday morning, I did not expect it to take a whole week to arrive. I am disappointed with that.

I just ordered a cake from Gooey Louie and received it yesterday and it was better than I ever expected it to be. I will definitely be ordering again! Thanks for the awesome serviceman awesome cake

This is NOT a St. Louis gooey butter cake! It is a terrable resipe it's more consistent of a rice pudding cake! Not worth $13.50, you can get a better gooey butter cake from McArthur's bakery. Save a trip and time and find a gooey butter cake somewhere else.

The standard to which the bar is set. I often have people visit from out of town. You cannot experience St. Louis without experiencing gooey butter cake and you cannot experience gooey butter cake without experiencing gooey louie..... it's that simple!
