Great food, on the expensive side, but quality is obvious! The best seafood knower with many local seafood including, lobster, scallops, shrimps and squid! Cheers! View all feedback.
I have eaten twice at the golf course and enjoyed the food very much both times. The sautéed scallops are absolutely amazing. So the food is excellent and the price is fair for what you get. My biggest concern is consistency and service. The first time we went, we got some bread before our meal, but we were not the second time, but older customers received it. Maybe sometimes you have to ask or order wine? Whatever, nbd. When we got our meal, all waiters seemed to disappear because we wanted different drinks because the water that was given was warm and we had no ice cream. But we finished our meals and finally the waitress came by after we sat 10 minutes after dinner. Let's just say we had to drink the warm water and didn't want to pay for a drink since we finished our meal. Finally, the amount of mosquitoes in the dining room was crazy. Other customers also threw them away. I would like to give it a higher than a three-rating because their food is great, but a 4 is too high.

The Chester Golf Club is a scenic but challenging, 18-hole course popular with golfers of all different handicaps. There is a certain charm over the place as you have many different views of the water on the opening 9 holes; but there are also others like Par-4 4. Hole surrounded by trees and you believe that you are in the middle of a provincial park. I enjoyed the 8. Hole, a short par-3 with bunkers left of green, and the par-4 9. Hole where the rear part of the clubhouse overlooks the plaster area. There are limited views of the water on the back 9 but the 15th is perhaps the hardest hole in Chester, as it plays on over 500 yards and is a double dog leg strategically placed with multiple bunkers to play with you. The last hole is a dog leg to the right, but if you hit a good tea shot, you should be able to hit the green in two shots. I decided to eat a bite after the round and I was not disappointed as their fish and chips were quite delicious; the fish was quite large and the chips were not considered. While it's $35.00 for only 9 holes and $63.00 for 18 holes in high season (July-September) it's worth the price and I would play this course in my top 5 or 6 in the whole province.
Good meals which include fish and chips, sauté haddock, red pepper soup, spaghetti alfredo.
Great food, on the expensive side but quality is evident! The best seafood chowder with plenty of local seafood including, lobster, scallops, shrimp and haddock! Cheers!
