I have observed a notable improvement in this restaurant over the past year, which has been a welcomed change. After not visiting for some time, I am glad I decided to return. A friend recommended it to us, and we were delighted by the fresh and delicious food. The service team was also charming and welcoming. View all feedback.
What Danny Wirth doesn't like about The Shy Horse:
I went to this pub with my family as they had vegan options. Overall, the meal (2 courses) lasted to come over two hours. Starter looked like it had been brought to shop and vegan burgers appeared microwaves brushed and bungalow was terrible. Service was so slow that we had to ask twice if we were to forget. Pub was roughly not impressed AVOID MY FELLOW VEGANS EPSOM HAS BETTER OPTIONS View all feedback.
Come a long time ago. can honestly say that eating has deteriorated. apart from ugenie. the waiter service also has . sunday roasting, where great now not so good meat hard. and the veg cold .sorry to say .not the same as it was such a scrub. ok for a burger, but this is what I am about.
Since the renovation not yet. it looks good. eat really good and a good choice. service on the slow side, but friendly. good relaxed atmosphere. will be back soon.
Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, food was delicious, chocolate brownie was heaven. We’ll definitely come back for more, thinking to book for Xmas as a special occasion treat
Staff were pleasant but left seated without menu food was cold and reheated it was sent back burnt my guest left all her food i would have expected a refund this is my regular pub so was disappointed
We booked our table just a few hours before we wanted to eat. at the arrival we have the choice to sit inside or outside in the garden. at my choice we sat in the interior, near the open terrace doors, so we could benefit from the brise that passes through. the staff was all polite, friendly and attentive. there was a waiter who took a glamor to my 9-year-old and made a little more steam over him, which he naturally dissolved. the appetizers came out quickly and when we asked about brot for the cheese, they brought out something, nothing seemed to be a problem here. the 3 adult ordered all the Sunday roast (although it is Sunday finally,) there was much on the teller and we all asked for additional gravitation. Now this is just my personal feelings, the kartoffels were over boiled, I like my bark medium rare, not well made and our yorkshires were much too crispy. the desserts, the tellers were all cleaned, none of us left everything. all in all, would we go back? yes, definitiw, I just won't order a Sunday roast.
