The ground beef in both the taco and enchilada was dry and flavorless. The salsa tasted old, almost sour, and the cheese dip meant for the steak nachos was just as disappointing. For the price I paid for lunch, I expected so much better. I’ll be making the drive to Boiling Springs next time. Save your money; this place isn’t worth it. On a positive note, I used to enjoy coming here; the food was great, and the staff was always sweet and attentive. I’ve tried various dishes in the past and wasn’t disappointed.

The salsa, guacamole, and sour cream are all much better in texture an... read more This is my favorite place to eat in Chesnee! The food is cooked well and nicely seasoned. The salsa, guacamole, and sour cream are all much better in texture and flavor than other Mexican restaurants in Spartanburg county. Their fajitas are by far the most delicious, with just the right amount of char to make the dish perfect! I can certainly tell that restaurants like these are hit harder by inflation and the worsening living quality in this country, but, even with the struggle with staff, the people here are kind and serve up food from the heart. The only meat on the menu I have found not to my taste is the ground beef, but honestly, why go for such processed protein when the Carnitas are right there? El Limon can provide a meal for any moment, whether it be a fun dinner and drinks among friends or excellent takeout to bring home and marathon a new TV series. This place is always worth the check.
