A friendly welcome to a good selection of tasty beers and ales (and craftsmen). I'm usually not a fan of Porter/Stout, but after a sip of the Spectre, had to have half as it was like a rich pudding in a glass! We had the Burger and Mac cheese (the team was good enough to whistle a perfectly dressed side salad that was not on the menu). Very good value, perfect portion size and very well executed. Not much choice of food but what I had was delicious!! Home made steak and ale (I think) pie with bread, chutney and pickle. Loved it.
