I can remember this place when it was very high in the Egon Ronay Guide. Now it’s just a pub full of locals with a less than cheery welcome. We ate two courses and wished we had eaten only one. The food was dull, boring...and unimaginative. It was the sort of food that would have done the job twenty five years ago. First visit at the dandy ****, certainly not our last. pub has the feeling of a good old modelokal. we only arrived for a drink, but stayed for a few more plus decided to eat there. eating was nice, with some items on the menu homemade. large service from the young lady behind the bar rounded off a very nice evening. thank you team dandy!
Great pub, warm with friendly staff. had a really delicious bark and ale cake and bark ciabatta. would highly recommend. can't wait to come back.
Lovely little pub with the wecoming staff! Light bites menu with lots of choice, food was amazing! Would highly recommend if in the area. I will be returning
