Good food, but lazy staff! His 3pm and they close at 4 and they refused to make a Philly. For me the pure laziness! Too many decisions in these days to provide this kind of service
If I could score a 0 I would...on top of being rude and not speaking to me and my husband when we arrived the cashier was rude, the restauraunt was not clean I HAVE PICURES I will post them from my husbands account this afternoon since thus won't allow me to do so FOOD TOP LEFT OPEN...NASTY COUNTER SPACES....SUB BREAD UNDER THE COUNTER SITTING ON TOP OF A CONTAINER fully exposed...THE CASHIER HAD A FUNKY ATTITUDE BEC. SHE GAVE ME THE WRONG TYPE OF DRINK and because shed raher continue her cell phone convo....IF SHE wasn't on her PHONE W her earpods in she could have heard what type drink and sandwich I asked for...smh....it's funny because they don't treat you that way at Firehouse Subs .. Jersey Mikes or Jimmy John's. What is this world coming to when you could be so rude to the people customers who are the reason you get a paycheck in the first place.
Horrible subs ?. Got the chicken Philly and has to be the worse sub I?ve had ? they had to work hard to get these subs this dry and this horrible ? what a waste of 60 dollars (3 subs and a small pizza)see photo ?. Mayo couldn?t help that log? looked like someone ! in a roll
Always a great meal.... especially on Tuesday! Since 1995 y'all been serving my favorite grinders.
They never have anything. I came from a long ways. I kept calling on the phone and they would not answer. I get all the way there and they didnt even have what I wanted. A philly cheese steak. I went there for nothing. He said they would have more steak on a truck in a few days. Smh. I really wish he would have answered the phone because I would not have driven way over there for nothing. Waste of my time.
The Zeros Subshop on Victory Blvd in Portsmouth has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have experienced inaccurate orders and poorly made subs, with one customer expressing frustration over having to return due to repeated mistakes. However, others have enjoyed the unique menu items such as the pepper chocolate and cheese sub, along with the cool dining area and friendly service. Despite some long-standing complaints about the aging stands, the overall consensus seems to be that the food quality and counter service at Zeros Subshop are generally good.

I visited Zero's for the first time, and although I've lived here for a while, I wasn't the one planning dinner. We had a coupon, which made the decision easier!
I tried the pepper chocolate with cheese and really enjoyed it. This unique place has a nice dining area, a TV, and even video games and pinball machines. The older gentleman who took my order was very polite. I would definitely come back for a drink and a bite to eat.
I received just one piece of meat on one half of my sub, along with half a tomato and half a slice of cheese. The sandwich was disappointing.
I had a really disappointing experience at Zero's subshop on Victory Blvd in Portsmouth. They completely messed up my order. I asked for a Philly cheesesteak without mayonnaise and without wobble. I also ordered a second Philly Käsesteak with everything for my friend. When we got home, we realized they got everything wrong. My sandwich had mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomato, which I didn’t want. My friend’s had no mayonnaise but only wobble, and also lettuce and tomato, which wasn’t correct either. The last time I ordered a Philly cheesesteak there, they didn’t even use the grill they had just cleaned, which is unacceptable because grilling is the whole point of the sandwich. I won’t be going back.
Horrible experience.
