My Co-workers and I had lunch there. We all ordered ribs, but different sides for lunch. They have a good lunch special. The ribs were delicious but they did not fall off the bone. Still, I found them good and tender. The fries I had were good, but the collards looked better. I want to try the pulled pork next.

If you are in the area, stop at Johnson’s BBQ. Mr. Johnson is so nice. When I worked at Olive Garden years ago, he always tipped me as much as his food was. Today I took my husband there for a BBQ platter. I’ve been there many times but he had never been. We didn’t know they only took cash and we were a dollar short. Mr. Johnson was SO NICE. He said no problem, bring it to me next time you come here to eat AND he gave my husband an iced tea “on the house”.... how nice is that? The food was delicious and my husband said he can't wait to go back.

Great prices, BarBQ hot and fast. Terrific sauce, tasty collards, crisp fresh cole slaw. Friendly service. Cash only! The pulled chicken was as large as a whopper and much tastier. Canned soft drinks or tea. It’s the food that’s king here. Table seating but order and pay first. Plenty of parking.

I was there for the first time as two neighbors said that it was very good. the BBQ sandwich was tasty. The pork was very fine chopped so bits fell off the roll. The sauce is added to the sandwich and not mixed into the pork. I got the fries but they were very overcooked so I will not buy them the next time I visit. The total price for the regular sandwich, fries and canned soft drink was less than $7.00
