Domoishi - Chesapeake

I had an incredible experience dining at this restaurant for the first time. Ordering my meal was a breeze with the tablet setup, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The Japanese ramen bowl with shrimp I ordered was delicious, especially with the miso base. The portion size was perfect for the price, and the fruit drinks were a nice touch. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes. My friend also enjoyed the poke bowl they ordered. The customer service was excellent and I highly recommend this place.

I didn't enjoy having to order from a kiosk. I wasn't in the mood for fast food, so I decided not to eat there.

We have ordered from this restaurant multiple times in the past and the food has always been good. However, our experience tonight was terrible. The tuna in the poke bowls was chewy, the rice was warm, and the sauce was overpowering. The ramen was supposed to be spicy but it had no heat at all. We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food, especially the tuna in the poke bowls, which was so bad that we had to throw it away. We wasted $60 on this meal and we are very unhappy.

On our first visit we purchased Bao Bun pork and Bao Bun beef to go. The pork was pork stomach, which has a high fat content. But when got home, we found the pork was almost all fat and we couldn't eat it. We called the restaurant and they refunded our purchase. So we'll give them another try. Sometimes it's not how well you do but rather how well you correct your mistakes. The ordering is done on a tablet, which I understand is efficient. But there's something nice about human interaction when ordering a meal and we missed that.
