What finedining56 doesn't like about The George Inn:
The greeting from the hostess was so bad that it was almost comical. She seemed robotic. The food was just okay, but it was lukewarm and not worth the price. I had to request extra gravy to try to warm it up. When I asked for cranberry sauce to go with my chicken, I was told they only have it at Christmas. The service charge and £10.80 for a glass of wine made it a pricey lunch. View all feedback.

I have saved the best to the conclusion, eating was beautiful, very tasty, and in contrast to other restaurants you can pick up the two different menus and mix them! the breakfast at both mornings was extensive and set it up for a day to explore the opposite. thanks for being back in any case
Great. thanks to claire and her team for the work they do to make every stay a pleasure. the old hotel in the fashion in the heart of the cotswolds. the rooms were pleasant and comfortable with all amenities required. lots of parking spaces for guests and users of the pubs/restaurants. Eating was from a high standard and tasty, menu was not too big, which always helps in selecting what to eat. the breakfast was tasty and in front of location where possible.
Since the pub was quite full, that was eating, although quite slowly arriving was excellent Sunday afternoon lunch price. I ate the bark, which was just quite tender and lazy, accompanied by enormous yorkshire pudding and much sweet. the pardons, although welcome on the plate were well undertook and should have been roasted to bring out their sweet. pudding was delicious. service was excellent.
What a great pub and every cure was a wonderful joy. the woman has there for a Friday night, datum night and we will come back soon. the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly from beginning to end. eating was fantastic. I'm sorry, no pictures, but so delicious and I couldn't recommend it enough.
