pass this place, but never visited today. it is a convenient half way to meet family. it was a Saturday there for the opening hours of 12 o'clock. not one way to culinary excellent blow, but for a village pub it was great eating. good standard, nice choice, the menu was not overfilled, with decent portion sizes not overwhelmed with a huge part of chips! good price wise. the staff were friendly welcome. good choice of... What Terry L Aaron doesn't like about The Bull Inn:
Very friendly helpful staff, nice surroundings, unfortunately the two x Sirlion steak we ordered as a surf Turf were chewy and tough, ruining the dining experience for us. Everything else was spot on. But £50 quid for two disappointing meals warrants a 2 star review, sorry! Prawns were excellent. Other customers enjoyed their food. View all feedback.
We decided to have dinner here during our journey up north. The staff and atmosphere were delightful and the food was outstanding - all fresh and homemade. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing through, looking for a traditional pub dining experience.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch that was served hot and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff was attentive. We definitely plan on coming back.
Great village pub, great service.... Good fun for aunt Sally
"The dinner was fantastic, the service was friendly, prompt, and accompanied by a smile."
Lovely friendly staff. Fresh cooked (homemade) food. They split a pizza and done half and half for my boys. One is dairy free. Good gluten free puddings too. Will definitely return.
