Had booked to go to a different restaurant in banbury, when we arrived, sit where you want but we ain't got much food!!!! So we spoke with our feet. Went round the corner to the barley mow, what a difference, staff were so helpful, food...was great, and our friends were really pleased and will be returning, we will be later this evening with family. This has to be one of the worst meals we have ever had. Firstly we had to wait quite a long time for the food to come, but thought this would mean the food would be hot when it came out. Myself and my daughter...shared starters for The mushrooms and prawns were on the menu as being served with baby leaf salad. If you choose to order from the Golden Days menu and want to enjoy a £2 dessert from the same menu, you must also order and pay for a main dish pudding at the same time. Unfortunately, this requirement is not clearly stated on the menu and we were not informed about it at the time of ordering.
My fiance and his mum and I go into this for dinner some times and the food is great they must have a new onwer for a while it was not good

It's totally gone down hill, they often have no plates, glasses, beer...the basics required for a pub restaurant. A real shame as it used to be a...
Not bad to be honest, children's meals meals £4.50 main pudding and drink...fajitas not bad and my husband had the ultimate mix grill... then pudding...
