What 252simonr doesn't like about Cafe At The Old Flight House:
Arrived with a group of 10 friends on a bike wanting to stop for a coffee to be greeted at in the Car Park by a lady who said that we could not park our bikes up against her wall as it is blocking the car park. She then intimated that as we would not be buying any antiques we were not welcome in the Cafe and she suggested that we went to the Milk Shed down the road. My first experience of The Old Flight House was in February this year…wow!! then last week at the beginning of March….it is impossible to explain just how beautiful the building is…with an air of bygone days…spacious with a real mix of stunning furniture, vintage, and cabinets full of delicious silver and jewellery…the antiques on display in room sets, were a joy…it’s l lovely to see old buildings preserved and reused.the cafe first rate…lovely food, sumptuous cakes and brilliant service…I shall certainly return for a third time very soon,,…..
Always nice fresh and tasty food from gorgeous salads to toasties and burgers with friendly service. Great place to visit to browse antiques then a bit of lunch.
Popped in to visit yesterday with my little boy and my brothers what a delight! Friendly staff that made us feel welcome and really delicious food. Looking forward to a return visit; thank you!
