Restaurant Marco - Chertsey

Had a veggie burger trio. Was Excellent!! Burger was a bit small but I felt full leaving. My friends had a veggie Poutine which also looked delicious! They have a vast variety of goodness on their menu, pizza, souvlaki, pasta and even ice cream. Bathrooms could use some attention. So happy to have found this pit area, it made my day!

Their choice is unimaginable, the lit is huge. Food is great and fast service. You go up to the counter order what you want, pay for your choices and they give you a type of pager. When your order is ready they buzz you and you go pick it up. I was there on a Tuesday lunch time after Labour Day and it was packed. If you go up north of Montreal worth the stop.

It's -30 Celsius, snowing. We come in with my 4 pound yorkie in my jacket. The woman said that she could get a 2000$ fine for having a dog inside a restaurant. (We were in Chertsey, not downtown Montreal, I doubt that any inspectors could show up). The restaurant was empty I suggested that I put the dog in a carry bag that is closed off. No. They took my order and made me eat outside the doors of the restaurant. It's a yorkshire terrier, not a Great Dane or a Llama. Anyways, I was a little dissapointed as my dog was never refused anywhere before. In the city, all the restaurants have been to have been most accomodating. Maybe it is frowned upon in the woods. The BLT was under-average

Bad food. High price. Chewy fries. Messed up orders. 45$ for a club and two small poutines and a beer.

Excellent poutine and ice cream. There’s lots of both outside and air conditioned indoor seating. They also have a nice garden with picnic tables and a play area for kids. There’s decent parking, the staff speak English well enough. We’ve stopped here twice in the past 2 weeks. I highly recommend a stop here if you’re passing through, especially if it’s a nice summer day. You’ll be happy you did.
