This restaurant is a stunning spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only downside is that they only offer a South Indian menu. The idiyappam and oothappam are delicious and worth trying. View all feedback.
Just awesome south indian food. They provide four types of Chatni, all are great and Idli is just super.
Really good taste and fast service. And they use leaves to serve food which is very good and a good experience. Loved the food. They served 4 different chutneys with the Ghee Roast I had which all tasted good. The only downside is the place is a bit expensive. It's not for everyday breakfast. But coming here once a while is worth it
Must visit here by food lovers special idly and onion rava dosha also good hygenic place and good quality price little high.
Tasty vegitarian items. Very good food. Walkable from Chennai Central. I usually take dinner when taking a train from central or Egmore stations.
The food is nice, but the chutneys are what we are paying the price for, Amazing.Their Onion oothappam is a must try because they use shallots,(small onion instead of onions that really multiplies the flavour and taste. The service from the staff was really great. One thing I noticed was even though they were wearing gloves they use it for handling currency notes , patting on fellow staffs shoulder etc. Originally named Murugan Coffee Nilayam the original Madurai branch only served coffee, snacks, and idlis. In 1991, the new owner of the restaurant changed its name and significantly expanded the menu. The chain has seventeen restaurants in Chennai, three restaurants in Madurai, two in Singapore and one in United Kingdom
