Located under the Foot over bridge at Tambaram Sanatorium MEPZ signal, you can see this place crowded during the lunch and dinner hours. Majority of the crowd is bachelors. View all feedback.
This restaurant is the best for delicious South Indian cuisine. I absolutely loved the crab masala, quail masala, and kothu paratha. However, I was disappointed to find out that they are not available for delivery on Zomato. I hope they will be added to the platform soon.
I had breakfast at Alagappa this morning. I have been a customer there for a long time, since they first opened. They have consistently maintained their delicious flavors. I enjoyed mutton curry with idly, parota, and Bulls Eye, all of which were very good.
Someone recommended this restaurant to me and I am so thankful! I was surprised to see the almost packed restaurant at 10:15pm. Located opposite MEPZ, it seems to attract a lot of IT professionals. The hot parottas were delicious, straight off the tawa. I enjoyed crushing them and they tasted amazing with the chicken engraving. The omelette was warm and tasty, while the chicken sukka was flavorful but a bit chewy. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was courteous. I ordered 3 parottas, 1 egg omelette, and 1 chicken sukka, and the total came to $145. The food tasted better than it looked, as the presentation could have been better.
I was recommended this restaurant by someone and I am so grateful! I was surprised to see the restaurant almost full at 10:15pm, but then I realized it is located across from MEPZ and attracts a lot of IT professionals. The parottas were served hot and fresh from the tawa, and it took me some time to tear them apart. They tasted delicious with the chicken gravy. The omelette was slightly warm but tasty. The chicken Sukka with bones was very flavorful but a bit chewy. I would have preferred the meat to be more tender. The food was delicious and the service was polite. I had 3 parottas, 1 egg omelette, and 1 chicken Sukka, and paid 145 rupees. If the banana leaf had been a darker green, the photos would have done justice to the food. Unfortunately, they didn't look as good as they tasted.
This restaurant is the perfect spot for delicious South Indian cuisine. Their crab masala, quail masala, and kothu paratha are beloved favorites. However, it's unfortunate that you can't order from them on Zomato. Hopefully, they will be added soon.
