Restaurant is very nice. Very Good as the staff was always available when required and made sure I was happy with everything. South Indian food, specially those who love their spices. View all feedback.
Loved this place during my college days, decided to revisit it on a whim, with the missus. The ambience could have been improved is what I felt. One of the saving graces of this outlet was it's rustic feel along with posters of icons from Hollywood's past. They also used to play famous Bollywood hits from the past. Both the posters and the music were missing and we were told that people found that to be an issue in other outlets of Sachin Ka Dhaba. Seriously?! Such a bunch of snowflakes!Regarding the food, they have maintained the taste at all levels. We ordered a plate of French Fries (the missus loves them, forgive us), Murgh Malai Kabab, Afghani Chicken Half, Pudhina Paratha and Chicken Kukkad Masala. We missed out on the Lassi as we lost account of our tummy space. The Kukkad Masala was a perfect match for the Pudhina Paratha. The Afghani Chicken .. damn tasty !! We will visit this place again for sure !!
Been here yesterday after almost couple of years. This time with my colleagues. Had vegetable dum biriyani, punjabi panner and lassi. No disappointments. Friends had lucknowi chicken biriyani and sarsong ka saag- receipe ingredients are mustard leaves, spices and ghee. Good combination was makki di roti. Overall good , along with service and ambience too.
This place used to be our favorite restaurant during our school and college days. Over the years, things have gone south and it is disheartening. However, some of the dishes at this place still stand out and outperform the current favorite Dhabbas in town. <br/ <br/ The ambience needs to be taken care of with more attention to detail. Although not unbearable, definitely can be much better. Furniture and interiors are good but the lighting needs a serious revisit and change; can't be this dull. <br/ <br/ Staff service is good and the people are friendly. This has been consistent since 1999. Another feature which has retained its splendor since 1999 is the awesomeness of their Lassi.
The entrance of the place might not be very appealing. it might give a haunted house feeling. the place could have been located elsewhere when compared to the other sachin ka dabba outlets. its a very dull lit place though there will be no complaints about the food and taste. prices are little ok ok and not not too nominal. gulab jamuns are a must try
Stopped by this place on a weekday for a quick meal. Was surprised the entire restaurant empty at around 1 PM. As I was alone, I ordered the Chilli Garlic Noodles with some Chaas to go along. <br/ <br/ Decor Basic theme, almost resembles a jungle atmosphere. Wooden logs converted into seating and tables. Pretty neatly done. However, the restaurant is very dimly lit, and in places where the sun doesn't shine, it gets even darker. <br/ <br/ Ambiance Don't remember any background music being played. As I was the only one around, didn't really have an issue with chatter from any surrounding table. <br/ <br/ Food Beverage Large quantity. Real VFM pricing. Could have easily shared between 2 people and still been full. The Chaas was tasty as well. <br/ <br/ Service Again, no complaints as I was the only one around. Tended to pretty quickly. <br/ <br/ In summary, a decent place for a one time dine. Nothing remarkable that pulls you back with the idea of making it a regular spot. Cheers.
