Despite warnings from two acquaintances who complained of stomach problems and abdominal pain after visiting Mon Hanoi in 2021, we, as lovers of Vietnamese cuisine, enjoyed a meal there at the end of August 2023. Two of us had severe stomach pains that very night and diarrhea for several days. The rest of us caught it a day or two later. In my case, it demonstrably progressed to gastritis, which required two weeks of treatment. So beware! This restaurant isn't exactly meticulous about hygiene
