great cheap drinks, passable cheap food. decor now show his old, but not bad. general cleanliness over fitable. above is more beautiful and away from the masters. loos down, go away a long time when drunk and they don't smell good. View all feedback.

This pub is a Wetherspoon establishment, so you know what to expect - which can be both a good and a bad thing. In comparison to other locations in the chain, this pub is a good option. View all feedback.
Very pleasant in every way. Attractive clean pub. Good service. I had fresh fruit salad with ice cram at 10 pm and for £4.19 it was very fresh and plenty for two. The prices are very attractive too!
Busy but very good service, my only slight issue was that I ordered my steak medium and it came well done
We visited for lunch on a Sunday at about 12.15. Upon trying to order on the application there were multiple items that couldn't be ordered and so were removed from the order at checkout. We tried some different items with the same effect. Then we went to the bar and found out they had no fish and only about half of their burger ingredients. Once we actually managed to order some food it was standard Wetherspoons fare, satisfactory and fairly cheap. We'll probably stick to the Moon Under Water at the other end of the High Street in future!
Me and 3 friends went for breakfast on Saturday. We sat outside and the staff were very attentive and friendly. One offered to get our first coffees for us. The food was good too.
It was what you would expect, we used the Bank House for dinner on the Friday night and breakfast the next day. The food was good, I mean it's not Gordon Ramsay quality but you can't beat it if you just need to get some food down your neck. Breakfast is always great. Nice big pub with loads of seating.
