I've ordered here a few times. I've had egg drop soup, seaseme chicken and general Tso's chicken. Every time I've ordered the food was excellent and the pick up service was very friendly and courteous. View all feedback.
What Katie doesn't like about Golden City Chelsea:
Ordered a large order of teriyaki chicken and shrimp and literally got 6 pieces of chicken and maybe 5 shrimp and the chicken I did get was extremely dry. This has happened twice. When we questioned whether it was a large order or not they said yes it’s two servings of rice… so to be clear you get more rice (the cheapest thing) but not more meat to eat with rice? Flavorful Dishes. Every dish is crafted with precision and creativity, ensuring that each visit is a gastronomic adventure.
This used to be our FAVORITE Chinese place… we went by today and I ordered chicken fried rice (received brown rice with onions and chicken in it… nothing else). The spring rolls were tough and chewy… my boyfriend got his usual general tso’s chicken and asked the man taking our order if he could make it extra spicy he was told yes… however his food barely had any kick to it (even less than usual). I’m pregnant and can’t handle spicy at the moment and it didn’t even phase me when he had me try it… so sad that this place went downhill now we have to find a new place to love.

When we questioned whether it was a large order or not they said yes it’s two servings of rice… so to be clear you get more rice (the cheapest thing) but not more meat to eat with rice? Also, since there’s hardly any meat there was hardly any sauce. I had to add my own teriyaki sauce to wash down the plain rice. It’s too expensive to just be getting rice. I feel as though it’s basically stealing money. If you’re looking for a Chinese restaurant that’s REALLY good and worth your money go to Magic Wok downtown, don’t waste your money here even if it’s closer to home like us.
Take out order was tasteless will not order again this is second time food was bad
