What User likes about China Garden:
Alright Bois. I've been to Japan, I lived in Korea for a year and a half. I haven't made it to China just yet but this is Americanized Chinese food anyways and you can't really expect it to be the same as what you'd get at Cony Island Shanghai. This is way better than Chinese Tonite. The crab rangoons are perfectly moist and crisp with a nice sweetness, the general tsos is good (maybe a little dry) but not just soggy... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about China Garden:
Ugh. The worst. Just go to Chinese Tonite... its in the same strip as China Garden. Literally everything is better about Chinese Tonite... there's no reason to go here. View all feedback.

It appears to be permanently closed. I'm disappointed, because it was the best Asian food in Chelsea.

read moreLocal diners have experienced a wide range of offerings at a popular Chinese restaurant, sparking mixed reviews. While some praise the value and speed of the lunch buffet, mentioning consistently good pad Thai and spring rolls, others criticize the quality of dishes like neon yellow fried rice and undercooked tempura. Service also receives a lukewarm response, with reports of inattentive staff. Despite its shortcomings, some patrons appreciate the authentic Moo Shu pancakes. Overall, while some consider it a solid choice for quick meals, many suggest exploring alternatives for a more satisfying dining experience.
Friendly staff and no better first class suppe in the city.
This is my local visit. I order the take and it is excellent every time. the crab krangoon may be the best I ever had. the prices are very reasonable.
The people were really nice, but the food was just blazing. we ordered the take-off of sweet and sour, sesame and general deceptive. the cheap.
Eating has become much better since the new owner. its super fast, freshly made and when compared with mcdonalds, its cheaper!
It appears that the restaurant is permanently closed. I am disappointed because it was the top spot for Asian cuisine in Chelsea.
