El Harissa Market Cafe - Ann Arbor

I would describe this place as mostly a take-out restaurant, although it has a few tables in a pleasantly simple setting. However, the atmosphere doesn't really matter because the food is fantastic. My wife enjoyed delicious Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors, while I was amazed by the incredible Harissa chili. The zaalouk served with pita bread was a real treat as well.

Oh my if this place was close to my home I’d be there daily. I do love finding “hole in the wall “ restaurants. Really nice fresh food both hot and cold, and such friendly service.

A wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, along with typical Middle Eastern cuisine. My group of 3 combined with 2 chance-encountered friends of one of us, and had a lovely long conversation. And treats!

Super friendly staff, super delicious food, super glad we went! The chicken chermoula with rice.... Let me tell ya I could eat that every meal until my death. I'd be hard pressed to remember a sauce I've had that was more appetizing and complementary than the chermoula sauce. My date night restaurant choice was a great success! We'll be baaaaaack.
