We came through on a cruise and found ourselves at Lizard Joes. My new home! Can't wait to get back to Lizard Joes and to the beach! Texas BBQ in Mexico right out of the smoker. It was great, tender and delicious. There were a lot of people here and the service was very good for the amount of people in the restaurant. Everyone was having a great time. A lot of celebrations on this day. It was worth the wait! The owners welcomed us as though they've known us forever. Now we are friends.

Very much an ex pat place - did not see anyone speaking Spa... read more Fun place in Chelem with cold beer, great food, live music and a good atmosphere right on the beach. Very much an ex pat place - did not see anyone speaking Spanish, except the wait staff. Monday night is tex mex night and the tacos and chile rellenos were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended if you tire of the local fish restaurants so popular here (though Lizard has those, too!)
