Tsillan Cellars - Chelan
Tsillan Cellars
Description
Perched with sweeping Lake Chelan views, this winery scores high for exceptional wines — including a celebrated 100‑point bottling — scenic grounds, engaging tours and lively events. Service and food are inconsistent: some visits feature attentive staff and tasty meals, while others report long waits, indifferent or rude servers, missing charcuterie, billing confusion and underwhelming dishes. Ideal for wine lovers and scenic outings, but come expecting variability in hospitality and kitchen reliability.

The food was surprisingly poor, especially considering the high prices for what we received. The only dish that stood out was the cioppino seafood stew, which was quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, the mushroom ravioli was undercooked and tough. On a positive note, the wine selection was excellent and the view was fantastic. The service was also commendable. Overall, it seems like this restaurant would benefit from a new chef and a revamped menu.
This place was recommended to us but the tasting room was understaffed and even though there were not that many people tasting it was pretty slow. Wines were pretty average nothing that special. Beautiful views and really amazing looking place.
What an amazing place! We just arrived in Chelan from Leavenworth and a gas station attendant suggested we check this restaurant out. We’re so glad we did! Julia was a wonderful host and recommended a bottle of white wine that was just perfect for us. They also offered charcuterie boards, but we opted for one from their to-go fridge, which was fantastic! The views are lovely, and the grounds are beautiful. The restaurant opens at 5 PM on Mondays. I highly recommend this spot! It's very clean, and the history behind the place is fascinating—definitely ask Julia about it. All the staff were super friendly, too.
