Sorry only three stars this time. Been about 4 years since our last visit. Same type of property 4 bed with hot tub (183) clearly they don't spot check on these places. Lady bird nest in one bedroom, BBQ full of rain water, woodlice in the bathroom, not as clean as I would expect, cracked bath panel, matris needed replacing as springs all gone broken... Only get one key for the property and gate so if your a family with two cars like us this is a big hassle... Ps needed to ask them to clean a pile of sick that was in the carpark... It's the little details... They ask you to clip down the hot tub cover.. I would do normally but all broken... Shame as this place was lovely 4 years ago... If you pay for quality you expect quality... It is a lovely site and a great location for cheddar which is just a 5 minute drive away.. just a shame the little things have been missed. The accomodation was in a bad state of repair, fridge freezer was broken as well as the cooker and television.

Absolutley loved this place, our lodges were spotlessly clean and beautiful, the resort itself is so wonderfully peaceful and the hot tubs were fantastic. Lovely bar on sight, serves food and does pizza nights and BBQ nights. Small arcade with pool table and bowling. Large swimming pool. Beautiful location, and very close to beautiful cheddar town, gorge and caves, about a 20min walk, 5 min drive or bus stop right outside. Some of the lodges are very close together, we were lucky to have a fab spot, not to close to our neighbours, it was a premier lodge not sure if that's why. But if you prefer privacy maybe call and enquire. Really lovely resort, also offer spa treatments and activities such as archery etc. We will definatley return here, next time with friends. Nearby activities: Activities can be booked on site. Walkability: Beautiful walks around cheddar gorge, jacobs ladder and cliff tops very close by.
