I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. I came here almost a year ago for Brunch in 2021, which exceeded my expectations. Cam 2022 with my family back to dinner menu and was delighted with the consistency. Each dish looked and tasted as amazing as it sounded on the menu. My 10 and 8 years old enjoyed the exchange in the menu options for adults, and my husbands refined range was also enthusiastic. All employees are exceptional and our waiter, Joe, could not have been a gentleman anymore. Our cocktails were delicious, desert was divine, and the atmosphere was beautiful. 10/10.
This place has quickly risen to be one of our favorite spots in Chattanooga. The menu is great, staff is super nice and knowledgeable, and they can turn just about any dish into a vegan dish. They have a nice little kids menu too. The decor is beautiful, and the bartender is great! He makes a mean Aviation!
The crab dip is ??????. It?s in a great walkable location in proximity to many different gems in the city. Everything we had was great. The cortado was great. The omelette was silky and light. The crab dip was well? fantastic and will have you licking the cast iron pan! They also have great mimosa options on the menu to fulfill your brunch fantasy?s. Parking can be a chore but it?s really worth it. It?s at the bottom of the Edwin Hotel and right at the end of the Walnut St Bridge which provides a great location for walking off your brunch.
Great place! When you walk into @whitebirdchattanooga you definitely are transported to an airy restaurant space with white curtains and tiny table arrangements. The food is very tastefully done and the portions are just right. I definitely suggesthaving a drink, ordering the biscuits and spinach with fries oysters, and having the lamb as your entree. You can't go wrong.
Sunday brunch for 5, seated right away with a reservation. It took five minutes to see a waiter. Let me say at the top, sometimes it’s important to distinguish food from service. Though service can make or break a meal, I understand when youcatch someone on a bad day….it was that day. Let’s get to the food!! I ordered hot iron crab dip and toast points, fruitbowl and a platter of biscuits with apple and apricot butter. The crab dip was loved by everyone with plenty of crab, appropriately spiced and a hearty portion. We had to order more toast points; too bad they showed up ten minutes later, but Idigress. The fruit was super fresh and of the highest quality. The biscuits were some of the best I’ve ever had, period. Weordered the brisket and eggs, scramblers and a couple of eggs Benedict. Since I didn’t sample everyone’s dish, I’ll onlyspeak to the Benedict. As you can see from the pic, very small dollop of hollandaise, the ham was full of fat and leaders. I wasforced to cut dabs of meat off and put the inedible portions on the side. Overall the flavor was…meh. I ordered a side ofskillet potatoes to go with the Benedict since it doesn’t come with a side, they didn’t arrive with the meal. After flaggingdown a new waiter, don’t know where the first one wandered off to, I got the potatoes when I had a few bites left.Nevertheless, they were very good! I believe Whitebird has the ambiance and decor nailed. They’re close on the food, thekitchen manager just has to insure execution is consistently up to snuff. I’ll give them another try.
