So today I went to lunch around 2on a Friday. There was 3 cars in front of me. It took an eternity for someone to get my order. But the food was warm and good. I will warn you this location never has Cajun rice or fresh corn on the cob. But the sweet tea was perfect, the red beans and rice was exceptional. My whole experience was horrible. I ordered a 14pc mixed with mac and cheese, red beans and rice, and a side of coleslaw with 6 biscuits as apart of the app offer. I waited about 15 minutes and my order was completely wrong. There was nothing but breast pieces of chicken and it was NOT fresh. It tasted burnt and like it had been sitting in the grease. Hwy 58 is probably one of the worst locations for this place. As soon as I pulled up they had an employee out side telling people to come inside of the building instead of going through the drive through. Saying they have just been having too many people coming through drive through. I just had surgery on my foot though, so was unable to come inside. Honestly it made me feel super uncomfortable, and really kind of hurt my feelings. I'm already struggling enough with this surgery and not being able to walk. Really didn't need to be made to feel bad for not coming inside. Any who... After waiting 20mins in line and getting to the speaker. I then waited 15 more mins just sitting there. No one ever said a thing to me even after I said hello at the 10min mark. To which I finally drove off. This type of thing happens constantly. Or as soon as you get to the speaker they say they are out of everything, but yet you can order those things with online ordering at that location. I'm not sure what's going on at the hwy 58 store, but your employees are miserable. Obviously not wanting to work or even be there. Maybe if they were paid better they wouldn't be out here hurting people's feelings and running off customers. Just a thought. I highly recommend not going to this location at all costs. They will forget to put half your food in the bag as well. Just don't do it.
Food was ok. Spicy chicken sandwich was hot and fresh it was good. Fries was just warm. Mashed potatoes barely had any gravy on them and only half full if that. Lobby was filthy looked like it hadn't been swept or cleaned all day. Bathroom was dirty and no paper towels to dry hands. Had to go get and use napkins. It wasn't my worst experience at A Popeyes but not my best either.
The chicken was hot and fresh. I eat at popeyes often It was not season correctly for the spicy selection I made. Also, through the chaos of not having an open diner, my drink was forgotten. I understand in these situations that things like this can happen. Turn over, retraining, covid losses, restaurant service is sporadic. Understandably, the wait is expected with any chicken place but the quality should never suffer and it is. The workers were in a rush but were polite and professional. This is becoming commonplace with any fast food restaurant that I have frequented. The wait should be expected, but in this case the quality of product is suffering also. Chattanooga hwy 58 location.

Drove to Popeyes for lunch. Ordered a tender meal and a nugget meal. The sides were fine but the chicken tasted like burnt oil. The outside and inside of the restaurant smelled like burnt oil. After driving back up to the restaurant I was greeted with ?something wrong with your food? then I explained about the burnt. The response was ?want a refund?? I asked if there was something fresher that could be prepared and she said with no hesitation ?it?s still the same oil? smh. I got my refund which was fine but I was really let down because I was looking forward to my meal. Even as I was leaving they were receiving complaints and phone calls about the burnt tasting chicken. Terrible experience from the food to the service.
