Nic Norman's Chattanooga

During my first visit, I had a great experience with Jessica, our server. However, the greetings from the staff could use some improvement to make them more welcoming and customer-friendly. It was disappointing to pay for parking next door, which actually turned out to be a more pleasant experience than the interactions with the greeting staff. On a positive note, the superfood salad was fantastic! I wouldn’t rule out returning just to try the burgers, but I wouldn’t be quick to recommend this place as my first choice to others.

We really enjoyed our meal and our time at Nic and Normans. It would have been a perfect 5-star experience if they hadn’t run out of the dish my wife wanted. We arrived at 6:30 PM on a Monday, so we were surprised that it was already unavailable. Aside from that, the service, atmosphere, and everything else were excellent.

We had made reservations for our swim team as individual families, but the restaurant combined our tables so we could sit together. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious, and the kids had a fantastic time!

We had a moms night out. We were excited there were late reservations available and were ready to eat here. We arrived and were seated quickly. The server was friendly and relatively fast… the food however, was super mediocre. The sweet potato fries were overdone, the Mac and cheese weirdly tasted like green peas, the Brussels sprouts had little flavor with very little bacon or goat cheese taste, the brisket nachos just had giant hunks of meat scattered over top of chips. I’d eaten here in the past and it was really good, I’m not sure what happened with the food last night but it wasn’t it.

Overall good experience. Food was good, service was great.
