Reviews summary
The Forge has received a mixed bag of reviews lately. While some patrons were pleasantly surprised by the food quality and attentive service during special occasions, others expressed disappointment over undercooked dishes and rushed service, particularly during holiday events. Issues such as misleading pricing and unexpected additional costs for parking contributed to negative experiences. Despite the charm of the restaurant, many found the high prices unjustified for the food and service received. However, those who visited during less busy times praised the overall atmosphere and quality, suggesting that the dining experience varies significantly depending on timing and menu selection.

I was really looking forward to trying the buffalo steak that was still listed on the limited menu. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered it medium, but it was overcooked and smothered in feta cheese, which overwhelmed the flavor of the steak. The pommes frites that accompanied the dish were cold, dry, and basically inedible. I had high hopes when I made the reservation, but the only positive thing I can say is that the staff truly was fantastic!
We checked the menu before booking a table. there was no information at all that there would be a limited menu that was the kitchen in the building. our bisonfilets have been completely overlaid. the French riders were hard as rocks and edible. Moreover, the hotel allowed dozens of children to walk in the lobby and throughout the restaurant. it was very difficult to visit in the restaurant, not to mention the lobby, with screaming, spicing children. a young one has met my older mother almost with a ball on a bunge string. we were absolutely appalled that the hotel would not appeal to the parents who would allow their children to do so.
The service was excellent! However, there was quite a bit of lively competition and children wandering around, which detracted from the overall dining experience.
I dined with a group of five for the four-course New Year's Eve dinner with wine pairings, and my experience was less than satisfactory. The courses came out too quickly; we were still working on our previous course when the next one arrived. I had to keep asking for the wine pairings. My first pairing was a glass of sparkling wine that I was already drinking. When I inquired about it, I was informed that they wouldn’t serve it since I had ordered it beforehand, despite paying extra for the pairings. To make matters worse, everyone’s ribeye steak was served cold and rare instead of medium. Overall, the service felt rushed and poorly executed, and the food was just average—not worth the high price. I likely won't return.

The food was incredible! Our waiter went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The restaurant was much less crowded for dinner compared to their fantastic breakfast rush. However, I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 and will be returning!
I loved the online reservation process! The website made it easy to choose our seating, costs, and time slots, and it even sent confirmation and cancellation emails, which helped me plan in advance. We brought my niece-in-law, a first-time mom, along with her one-year-old baby, and we all had a wonderful time enjoying the food and the atmosphere. Thank you, Forge, for a fantastic Mother's Day experience! Five stars!
The food was cold once I arrived and not many options to choose from as I expected and experienced before visiting the Chattanoogan brunch last year I was kinda disappointed but the customer service was good
