My boyfriend and I went to the new location tonight (I'm a huge fan of Cherry Street) and Kristina took great care of us! We sat on the back patio with our dog who highly recommends due to their top notch pup bowls! Their pretzel appetizer with the beer cheese is a must try. Ask for Kristina when you check it out, she'll take great care of you! View all feedback.
What Samantha Gray doesn't like about Cherry Street Brewpub Chattanooga Northshore:
Ordered their Wednesday 50% off “1 pound” of wings. When we received the wings not only were they extremely small filled with with wing tips, but no where near a pound of wings (maybe if it was weighed with the tray they came out on). They clearly do not pay any attention to the food they are serving, as the “wings” we received had large feathers coming out and a large portion of the wings were the wing tips, which a... We were very disappointed with our lunch choice while passing through Chattanooga. I took the time to do a yelp search and find a good burger spot for our lunch pit stop on our drive back to Atlanta. Our first choice didn 't have outdoor seating and since we had our dog with us we opted to go with Cherry Street for their dog friendly patio. The place was not very busy by any means, at least half the restaurant was vacant. We had to wait a quite few minutes to be greeted and seated which considering the fact they weren 't busy should have been our first red flag. We ordered our lunch, Nicky T 's burger, Bavarian burger, spicy **** Mary and dry cider. We also ordered off their pup menu for our dog. We waited so long for our drinks my wife had to get up and go to the bar to ask, as we had not seen or heard from our server. When she asked the bartender about our drinks her response was oh, well I made those a long time ago and pointed to our drinks that were waiting to be delivered. She grabbed them and by the time she got back to our table our food had arrived. We didn 't have any utensils, napkins or condiments and again our server was no where to be seen. My wife got up to go find her. By the time she sat down and we ate, her **** Mary was so watered down with the melted ice she said it was gross and our food was just barely warm. The burgers were ok, nothing to write home about. All in all I would discourage anyone from eating at Cherry Street and if you do come in for drinks be sure to sit at the bar where at least you know you 'll get your drinks before they 're completely watered down.
Tyler was our server and he had great recommendations. It was a little slow but it got busy halfway through our meal, he never made us feel neglected though. I'm not sure when they remodeled but they now have an arcade/lounge on the side you used to have to dine in. The side you dine in now you walk past all the beer vats to the back. They have an outside deck which I'm sad I didn't sit on, it was raining off and on. The inside was cozy with a kinda open industrial feel. The lounge looked classy with couches that looked comfy. The food was really good. The Mac n cheese kinda through me off because they used penne, but the cheese had a nice subtle flavor. I added a little hot sauce to my burger which was just the kick it needed. Also I dipped my burger in the Mac n cheese sauce, yum!
We went for Octoberfest, good food and drinks with a wide selection of beer. They also had live music. We had a good time. I'd visit again.
Always a great time, and surprisingly some of the best food I’ve had here. Don’t expect breweries to kick butt on food, but here we are. Also Josh, one of the servers, is great and does an awesome
Ordered their Wednesday 50% off “1 pound” of wings. They clearly do not pay any attention to the food they are serving, as the “wings” we received had large feathers coming out and a large portion of the wings were the wing tips, which are not even edible. Additionally, they have a strict no kids section of the brewery and only allow kids in their outside part or diner (if they do not get up from their seat). This is not kid friendly at all and have no plans of coming back here. The food was unacceptable to serve and the atmosphere is no where near a normal brewery atmosphere.
