Contribute FeedbackI highly recommend this express version of the popular CBD One Tea Lounge & Grill. We ordered the green tea and red bean icecream baogers, as well as iced matcha lattes. The baogers were absolutely heavenly! The bao was slightly crispy on the outside but gorgeous and fluffy on the inside, it was doused in a thick salted caramel sauce. Inside the bao were red beans and then the ice cream, both the green tea and red bean flavours hit the mark. I think what really made this dish special for me was the contrast between the warmness and crispiness of the bao (they're freshly made, guys...) and the creamy coldness of the icecream. Truly magical. The iced matcha lattes were good but not the best I have had. Perhaps a little too much milk? I would love to visit again, either here or the CBD branch, and try some of their savoury dishes.
Love their ramen burger! So unique and delicious! Crunchy ramen noodles bun with tender beef patty. Price is a bit high though considering the size is not huge.
Love the creativity and fusion of flavours here! Everything from matcha fries to ramen burgers! It's crazy and tasty! Pictured here in our feast are the glorious Peking duck fries, a monster of a burger and a couple of the famous ramen burgers. Huge servings and huge on flavour!
The famous @onetealounge Peking duck waffle fries were the ducks nuts. Topped with shredded duck, shallots and liberally slathered with their spicy Hoisin sauce. Deviating from the classic sweeter Hoisin sauce served with Peking duck dishes, this one had more of a savoury, peppery taste. Plus waffle fries, 'nuf said. That said these are on the pricier side $17 and at the price given the amount of peking duck with the dish it's hard to justify the cost. Also grabbed the Gang Bang burger. It may not be the prettiest burg on the block but with a name like Gang Bang, it's obviously the rough around the edges gangster of the @onetealounge family. Double beef patties - flavourful and not overdone with still a hint of pink, could have possibly done with a bit shorter on the grill but that's just personal preference. Plus jalapeno cheese, pepper jack, jalapenos and a big ass kransky. But it was that smoky chipotle BBQ sauce that stole the show for me, and there was loads of it!
Matcha burgers and bacon! A group of us drop by Westfield and tried out this joint, from the CBD location this is an express outlet where you can get similiar food but less theatrics. As always i love their waffle duck fries and their shichimi bacon. At last they have it here along with other new lunch menu. Top favourite is the Matcha bae, waffle duck fries, Korean fried chicken and the desserts! If you are in the area drop by if not visit the CBD branch! Until next time .... Keep eating! asianfoodninja.com
