Beautiful. For a 'shopping centre' cafe on an island setting, it's difficult to create atmosphere, but BO do just that! The service was responsive and timely, food was presented immaculately. I was really shocked by the brekkie deluxe. It was like pizza on brioche. So good! View all feedback.
What Ben Dickens doesn't like about Burnt Orange:
Burnt Orange in Chatswood Chase is a smaller, more casual version of the Mosman cafe. Tucked nicely away in the shopping centre, Burnt Orange has a smart casual vibe, an oasis to escape and enjoy a beautiful meal and drink while you shop, or even as a destination to visit without being tempted to spend too much cash elsewhere. The cafe is wonderfully decorated, with leafy pillars and roofing' over the tables, which g... View all feedback.
Burnt Orange Chatswood is a cafe situated in Chatswood Chase that serves great brunch and lunch food. We have been here twice since it opened as a sister cafe to the Mosman original and will share our experiences in this post. The first time we came here, we ordered two dishes, the first being the vine tomato and crushed avocado with Persian feta and fresh basil. This was such a delicious and healthy dish, the mildness of the crushed avo went perfectly with the strong feta cheese, which was balanced out by the slightly sour tomato. ...Read full post on loveatfirstbiteaus.wordpress.com
A posh cafe in midst of designer boutiques. A good place for shoppers to rest after a tiresome shopping or a good place to catch up with friends. The dishes are lovely presented but the substantial portion is on the lean side. All fluffed up with salad leaves. weekendnotes.com
Burnt Orange has got to be one of the prettiest cafe's we have seen, especially for one located right in the middle of Chatswood Chase! It's filled with beautiful fake flowers and completely outfitted with greenery in every possible location. It is enough to brighten up your day shopping, it definitely made for a great visual relief among a sea of retail stores. Other than your breakfast and lunch options, Burnt Orange also caters high tea (but you have to book in advance). It's a great way to plan a girls day out followed with shopping! Who can say no to that? ...Read full post on snapshotsoffood.blogspot.com
This is a very pretty cafe located in Chatswood Chase. The seating area is surrounded by green foliage and you can see the sky through the ceiling. The dish that drew me to this place was the Alaskan crab egg benedict and it did not disappoint. I love the combination of seafood, toasted bioche and two nicely cooked poached eggs. The coffee beans are from The Grounds but the skin latte that I ordered was more on the milky tasting side.
Burnt Orange is a great way to start your day. Located within Chatswood Chase, it's a little cafe great for getting away from the hustle and bustle that is the Chatswood shopping centre. The table is set simply with flowers and vines overhanging above, giving the atmosphere of a garden escape. I myself had the buckwheat pancakes, which came out presented beautifully. They were soft and fluffy and full of flavour, with fresh fruit, a fresh cranberry ricotta and maple syrup on the side. I had a coffee also, which was smooth, creamy and had lots of aroma! Very satisfied with my meal. A nice dish but it is small, so if you're hungry, you might also need something else. Also had the King Crab Benedict and thought it was a really innovative and yummy dish. The presentation was gorgeous again and the serving was generous. Eggs were cooked perfectly, hollandaise was really great and the crab was fresh. It was with brioche bread, a bit sweet. She also had the super smoothie which was just as yummy! The staff were friendly, quick and efficient! Great place for a nice and swift breakfast or brunch on a weekend! aroundtheclockfoodie.com
