Stopped here to get take out when we were in Chatham. It was so yummy! We ate all the Onion and Palak Pakora they were so fresh and tasty. We are vegetarians so we had the Channa, Veggie Biriyani, fried cauliflower appetizer (never had this before was delicious), Aloo Gobi and Naan! All was so fresh and tasty will definitely go back! Yummy!!!!

Everything we ordered was great: samosas, mango lassi, lamb korma, aloo gobi, eggplant curry, shrimp masala, coconut beef curry, tikka masala, butter chicken, naan, and more. Small shop but very welcoming with nice artwork. Our server was also one of the business partners of the restaurant who informed us of their history.

A w... read more I rarely ever love a place like this! Walking into the small place (there were some very distinctive smells! , there like 15 tables, there was no one there. A woman came out from the kitchen to greet us and we sat. I noticed a woman in the back, grinding up spices for cooking. This to me is a great sign knowing that they really take care to blend spices in such a unique way. Sigh. She gave us a few minutes to figure out what we wanted and answered a few questions we had on the menu. I settled on my standard Chicken Tikka Masala. The BF got Butter Chicken. We split Samosas and Garlic Naan. The GIANT and I mean GIANT bowl of rice was more than enough for us to have our meal, plus take some home and we couldn't fit it in the take out containers. My Chicken Tikka was perfect! Just spicy enough it not too hot. I can't tell you how many times I've been disappointed at other places when I say medium hot and it's more mild. The hostess even asked! The Butter Chicken was amazing! My BF hasn't had it before, and he LOVED it. The Naan was so good we ate the whole order and got some to go because we took out leftovers. The only thing I was disappointed in, is that this place is 3 1/2 hours from my house!

We started with onion Bhaji, basically onions deep fried in a spiced chickpea batter. It comes with a tamarind dip. A great appetizer. Chicken curry and Tandoori Chicken. Wow! amazing stuff. You can get your spiciness rated from 1-10. Five is quite hot. I'm used to spicy Thai food from Bankok. This stuff was hot but tasty. I would recommend this place without hesitation and hope to get there again.

The biryani was especially delicious, full of flavor and very tasty. I highly recommend trying it out. They also have a great selection of vegetarian options for those who prefer not to eat meat.
