Mamma Maria's Ristorante - Chatham

We were using the gps to tray and find a place to eat and decided on this one. We should have looked at the menu before sitting down. Thought it was a bit like East Side Mario's but then realized it was much more. Great place and good food but expensive and maybe more a place for a date or business dinner or family outing.

My husband and I frequent this place as much as we can for a night out. It's one of our favourite Italian places. We have never left this place disappointed with what we eat. We usually keep it simple with their to die for mozzarella balls and panzerottis. But occasionally we will get a nightly pasta special or one of their speciality pasta menu item. They always knock it out of the park. For drinks, if your into fruity martini's then the salamander is what you are looking for! It's fabulous.

I gave a rating of 4 out of 5 simply because nothing is 100%, but I could not find fault with a thing. We had company visiting from BC and took them to Mamma Maria's on a Friday night. The food and wine were great, as was the service. I don't know our server's name, but the bill said Server #1, and he was excellent, very professional yet very attentive. It was quite busy that night but we were still able to converse easily. Our guests were impressed with this spot. I would recommend this restaurant highly. (The ladies room was spotless, which is to me an indication of what the whole establishment is like.)

My husband and I have eaten there several times. the food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing --good place to eat when celebrating a special occasion.

This is one of a few restaurants in Chatham that I always expect to have a perfect meal. Service is great and drinks and wine list above average along with everything else. You can't go wrong with this as a top choice!
