c is my favorite restaurant on châtellerault. The reception is nice. the server connoisseurs his card whether it's menus or wines. The card is different every time I go. every meal, I get satisfied and my husband too because he's pretty dazzling on the restaurants that say they're refined View all feedback.

I have eaten here on many occasions. Never disappointed. Great food Chez Bernard, great service and fanbloodytastic wines!

I've eaten here three times and although it's undeniably a quality restaurant, I fail to see why people like it as much as they do; I really don't like the dining room, it seems dingy and lacks atmosphere. I always feel like I'm gatecrashing someone's home when arriving, weird vibe, not negative just odd. The salmon tartare is a dish that seems very popular but for me it's busy and has too many capers and too much mayo. The steak I had was all dressed up with fois gras and other unnecessary accompaniments that detract from what a steak is supposed to be. In fact all the meals I've had here were fussy and didn't really know what they wanted to be; too many ingredients all vying for your pallet although all cooked and presented very well. Service passes the test and they have a great wine list but it's not my kind of place.
Back from vacation looking for a place to lunch, we leave the highway and we discover this restaurant whose facade a little "kitch" we intrigues. Warm, pleasant,menus welcome at reasonable prices for such a refined cuisine, the products are of qualities, the plates shown the impeccable service. We'll be back,bravo to the whole team.
Very disappointing restaurant: the kitchen and the decor date from the 1970s ... it's good, but old, and expensive.
