Turned up and it was very busy. We wanted a table for six and we had to wait for a minute so they could set it up. The food was lovely and great value. Definitely worth a visit. ???? View all feedback.
What Tamia Anderson doesn't like about Dolce Vita:
Went here with family including an month old baby. Several of the party had the pizzas which were Ok and cheap enough but nothing special. I ordered penne Bolognese which was poor and there wasn't enough meat in the sauce. I asked for a...very small portion of spaghetti Bolognese for the baby but was shown the child menu of meal, drink dessert at euros. I said no thanks as it was obvious it was no good for the baby.... Our passenger recommended this restaurant and we are glad he did. Friendly service to die delicious pizzas and desserts, especially the ice-sunners. Good prices for what we had
We stopped on our way home from vacation back to Calais and that made an excellent lunch break. The salads were huge and delicious and the pizzas were delicious with an interesting selection of toppings. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially when I tried to explain my food allergy in French, even get me samples from the kitchen to explain the ingredients.
I worked here with family, including an 11-month baby. Some of the parties had the pizzas that were ok and cheap enough, but nothing special. I ordered Penne Bolognese who was poor and there was not enough meat in the sauce. I asked for a very small part of Spaghetti Bolognese for the baby, but the children's menu of the meal was shown, drinking dessert at 7 euros. I said no thanks because it was obvious that it wasn't good for the baby. The waiter said OK I will make a spaghetti Bolognese alone. When it came, it was Tagliatelle and a small part to me. We paid the bill but did not know until after we left that the "baby share" was calculated as a normal part of Spaghetti Bolognese at 7 Euro 10. Maybe we ordered the children's menu. Will probably avoid in the future.
