This is the restaurant of Hotel Bellevue. We were delighted by the hotel but rather disappointed by the restaurant. All other Guyon cat restaurants were closed so we landed here on Tuesday night with my husband. From the very first few moments, something is wrong: the server proposes to sit at a table not set up. the atmosphere is cold and heavy, and we are used peanuts for aperitone, in a setting that wants to be gastronomic. The entrance is very mediocre: a salad of hot goats that arrive cold on the plate, probably prepared too soon. The waiter, in a polo, explains to me that they "always done like that." My husband also appreciates his terrine. the dish is the culmination of the dinner: frog thighs without garlic and without parsley, just with butter, with potatoes cooked with water without seasoning. I barely touch my dish that has no taste, which does not prevent them from charging us 70€ for this shameful dinner. without even having the idea of apologizing or offering coffee. fortunately, we saved the wine, the server having even forgotten to ask us what we would take to accompany the meal. We were a sunny Saturday noon in April, looking for a nice and quiet place for lunch. We were greeted by Aurélien who tells us that the restaurant is closed at noon this season, but since we were already there and that we wanted a beautiful salad not too complicated, it opened its door and concocted each one a magnificent salad (with quiche with spinach or square of cold pork! , with a glass of Saint-Pourçain that we savored on a terrace.
