We had an evening meal here - although it looks like a cafe the food was outstanding. We ordered the specials and they were all amazing, the fish of the day was particularly good, as were the homemade desserts. The staff were friendly, all in all a great evening out. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Hors Piste:
We we're looking forward to enjoying the pizzas and burgers with our family, we pre booked and were untold "rather abruptly" not to be late as all pizzas as freshly prepared. No problem we turned up 20 minutes early and waited to be seated. When seated we were told they couldn't take our order until an earlier booking had arrived and were seated! Lovely owner, amazing burgers, good drinks and a nice little outdoor seating area in the middle of the village which makes for a nice atmosphere.
We’ve already eaten twice at this restaurant this week, and come back every year we visit Chatel. It is a small, cosy place, very welcoming and serves excellent food. We particularly enjoyed the chilli burger with guacamole and home made chips. You do need to...make a reservation, but don’t worry about phoning ahead (as I do the owner is English (I think) and the French staff speak excellent English. I was pleased to see they check the COVID passes.
Super welcoming atmosphere- like walking into your local but friendlier. Staff are great and food was phenomenal have the special- trust me it’s amazing.
Have been here many times, never a problem to get us a table, never a problem to accommodate the fussy child. Food always great and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Thanks again for a wonderful Christmas pizza! Absolutely perfect.
