I've eaten here several times, and the food is always tasteful and well prepared. If you come early, you see the staff prepare the produce from scratch. The Plat de jour is always very nice and the portions are plentiful The service is always friendly and accomodating. We always come back View all feedback.
What robinphilpott doesn't like about Bar Plaine Dranse:
More like a café than a restaurant. Two of us shared a cheese fondue which was watery and served with bread which was certainly at the stale end of its lifecycle and a few pieces provided added mould. Tasted OK, but then is should for 20 Euros each. Plate of mixed meats with pickles was nice enough. View all feedback.
A wonderful couple owners for many years. He has tartiflette, it's a harassing welcome and a smile that makes us feel like home. Whether you're looking forward to taking the trails, going by yourself, or you're a hiker, set up in the country room or on the terrace to enjoy the view of the Pré la Joux valley. An incontournâble of Châtel!!

Great location.decent prices for an on piste restaurant. Good for lunch or a hot chocolate...,.............
Brilliant value for money. This is self service restaurant with the nicest staff ever. The hot dogs are lush!
