Vietnamchan - Chatan

After finding out that the vegan places in the area were closed for the day, we decided to check out VietnamChan for lunch. The staff was very friendly and carefully explained the veg options on the menu, and we ended up ordering the Vietnamese salad noodle with deep fried spring rolls and tofu banh mi (ask for no mayo) with fries. Both were really delicious, full of incredible flavor! The banh mi was perfectly seasoned, beyond my expectations! And the salad was fresh, flavorful and really satisfying! Highly recommend!!

The two options are vegetable bahn mi (tell that you're vegan so they omit the mayo) and spring rolls. The staff actually speaks English (not sure to what extent, we spoke in Japanese, but there were two English speaking groups ordering in English). The sandwich was pretty yummy, with tofu, but not spicy at all there's sweet and sour sauce at the table and black pepper,so that was nice since there was no sauce in the sandwich itself
