We chose a mixed salad which was fairly indifferent and the dressing tasted like a well known bought bottle. I felt I could have produced a better one myself. There are much better places to eat in Chartres

He suggested the... read more Charming outdoor dining overlooking the twice weekly market place. We had lunch and met an older gentleman who dined there on a regular basis. He suggested the lamb chops (cooked perfectly) and vegetable brochette. Our waitress was a marvel. Attentive to all, all while slammed at lunch time. I think we were the only tourist types in the place. Always a good sign. Dessert was amazing. Fresh raspberries, layered in the thickest creme I've ever eaten.If you're disappointed, you should just stop eating.

Spouse enjoyed fish main course but I made wrong choice - kidney brochette too undercooked for my taste. Noteithstanding the latter comment, would not hesitate to go back.
