Of course, one might be happy to stay in a tent this close to the sublime cathedral but why, when such agreeable accommodation is available on the Gothic masterpiece’s doorstep.

Funky waitress, did her best to understand the tourists. Food was ok, nothing to write to mum about. Price was quite fair. I could come again if in Chartres.

One of my favorite meals in France. I had the goat cheese gratin and my daughter a quinoa salad.

Guests can see the cathedral from the front steps. I would stay here again.

What a wonderful quirky hotel, directly situated outside the cathedral, The room was perfect with a small balcony with table and chairs,breakfast was adequate b... read more What a wonderful quirky hotel, directly situated outside the cathedral, The room was perfect with a small balcony with table and chairs,breakfast was adequate but the gentleman serving the breakfast sorry didn't get his name) was so lovely he spoke fairly good English, and on our last day he walked to the car park to retrieve our parking disk ,so we didn't have to drive back to the hotel through all the roadworks, Would highly recommend this hotel
