Sorry don't normally do this, very disappointing the service was terrible , kept waiting to be served while the lady just kept doing what ever she was doing. The meal took over a hour and 15 minutes which I understand its gets busy. I ordered...Barra and I know my fish as we are fisherman. I am afraid this was no barra , I realise you are not on the coast but if you dont have Barra dont sent it out as barra. . View all feedback.
We had three Dinners here plus drinks, something different every night, the food was fantastic with lovely fresh vegetables or chips if you prefer. Fantastic.

Enjoyed a cold beverage with friends while looking around the old pub. Plenty to see on the walls as well as an outdoor seating area with a wall to read that previous visitors had signed.
We had an awesome meal here, I highly recommend the Chicken Schnitzel & the pulled lamb salad both of which we highly recommend. I recommend you try this hotel out.!
Stopped over on a Saturday in Charters Towers on a recent caravan trip up north. Nice country town, most shops close around lunch time, but the Commercial was open. Had a great home cooked meal & a relaxing couple of drinks, all very reasonably priced. Staff friendly & welcoming, will call in again next time we are passing through.
