I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The overall presentation of the dishes was lacking. The roasted rice was subpar—my husband even thought it was boiled rice. Ripped off in all aspects. Even the fried rice was sub standard. Hubby actually thought it was boiled rice. Never again. Chewy steak with watery sauce. Stir fried mushroom dish with snow peas and sugar snap peas bulked out with cheaper alternatives carrot and celery. Minimal mushrooms and the other greens. Paid good money for this. I searched high and low throughout Canberra for a place that served a good omelette, and I didn’t realize that this hidden gem was exactly what I needed! Not only did they prepare one of the best omelettes I’ve ever tasted—truly unmatched—but their sauces were smooth and irresistible! Their fried rice is so delicious that it can elevate any meal to a feast. I’ve ordered from them when hosting guests, and everyone has always been satisfied. I can’t recommend them enough; they’re one of the few places in Canberra that I keep returning to time and time again.
Our local Malay/Chinese. The Char kway Teow is fantastic, the Beef Rendang is AMAZING and we have never had a bad meal in the whole year we've been eating there. Friendly and obliging.
The owners here are incredibly welcoming and kind. It’s truly a wonderful place to visit and support, especially during these times.
