Contribute FeedbackA new Chinese restaurant recently received mixed reviews for their take away options. While some customers found the meals to be average and somewhat expensive, others praised the delicious dim sims, chicken wings, and Singapore noodles. With a diverse menu and friendly service, it seems this restaurant is a hit or miss depending on personal taste preferences. Overall, customers appreciated the variety of dishes offered and the convenience of take away options.
BEST ENTREE Tastiest dim sims and spring rolls ever and the chicken and sweet corn soup had lots of real chicken in it which was a nice surprise. The rest of the meal was average. Beef in black bean sauce had flavour but was mostly capsicum and onion, satay chicken was tasty enough but was a bit rubbery and was very oily, the garlic chicken was good but also rubbery.
Lives in dunlop and has been in charnies noodles and dumplings in charnwood for years and has become a family lover. highly recommended!
Friendly service, fast and good food. a great place to try when they are in the north and need a nice meal to top the day. they are located in the charnwood shops so beautiful and close when they are in belconnen or stay in dunlop or charnwood.
Last week in Canberra’s far north for work, I consulted the canberra food bloggers for all nearby “not miss” places for lunch. inconveniently they agreed that I must not miss this opportunity to experience charnies noodles and dumplings, a favorite! and in fact Charnie’s is a specialist in this exhilarating classic aussie chinese takeaway style.
