Normally the food is five stars across the board. This visit might have been an off day; some items seemed overcooked crusty scrambled eggs, others seemed to be using lower quality ingredients than normal ketchupy sauce. One of my dishes had a huge chunk of what seemed like pie crust stuck to the bottom.I'll still be going again. The rest was all excellent and these negatives aren't a trend yet View all feedback.

Hit or miss on the food. The rib Buffet it's just fair, only two variety of ribs. They are over cooked and they do not fall off the bone. I've been to the rib Buffet three times in the last year. The lunchtime Buffet I would rate it a 4 ? and I did enjoy it View all feedback.
The table was crowded, and the portion of potatoes was not very generous.
Didn?t realize that the buffet was no longer closed which was fine, I should have checked before hand, so we ordered off of the comfort nights menu. There was no choice for those who have dietary restrictions so you picked what you could eat. The first course was nothing special, the salad my dad ordered had no dressing, which became a theme throughout dinner. The soup came with cheap crackers and again, was nothing to write home about. Dinner came and the vegetables had no discernible seasoning and were nearly raw. The spinach had no dressing for any of the meals and the potato my mother had was cold. The desert I had was served with cold caramel which was an odd contrast to the attempt at a warm bread pudding. The lemon meringue pie, as my mom described it, was gritty, flavourless jello. My father described the crust as a bed of sawdust. I love supporting local but this was a huge disappointment and I wouldn?t recommend to anyone. Really seemed like they didn?t care about what was going out and nobody cared to check.
We had a fantastic experience at Sunday brunch today. Our server Shelagh was very attentive and brought everything to us quickly. This food was awesome and they kept everything filled up and hot. We left very satisfied and will return.
The food is delicious and the coffee is good. You must try the peasant bowl.
The view was great and service is fairly good! Went for their prix fixed meal and it was mediocre. Mussels were slightly sandy still, seafood pesto pasta didn't come together right, Dijon pineapple porkchops were unique but the veggies on the side were soggy, dessert was OK actually (bread pudding and Pina-colada sundae). All in all, come for the experience, leave for the food. Edit: Changed to 4 stars from 3 because the service was actually very quick and pricing was extremely affordable!
